The
GT-R
The GT-R represents a strong comeback from Nissan in the sports
car segment, where the company introduced the new-generation Z last
year to be followed by the GT-R at Geneva. With the Z and the GT-R,
Nissan is reinventing the segment with two very impressive vehicles.
According
to Nissan, the concept GT-R, which clearly indicates the next generation
of this sports car, and which will be put in production in the near
future, and which will be put in production in the near future,
and "is a fresh interpretation of what has become an icon of
driving exhilaration through dynamic technology".
From what is clear about this car, the GT-R is still a no-compromise
sports car. It remains as technically advanced and as dedicated
to the driving process as ever. Its priority is to provide the enthusiastic
driver with unadulterated sheer driving pleasure.
With the development and engineering of the GT-R concept, Nissan
has started from scratch, but retained all the passion of the GT-R
and its legendary heritage. The new GT-R remains true to its illustrious
predecessors- it's a supreme driving machine, bold in appearance
and extreme in specifications.
Everything is new, from content to component, but the only thing
that remains unchanged is the car's outstanding driving pleasure,
even that is improved and lifted to new heights of overall excellence.
As Nissan's Senior Vice President of Design, Shiro Nakamura, puts
it, " The GT-R has now a more sophisticated and stylish design
theme that surrounds familiar trademark GT-R characteristics such
as the wide and powerful front air intake and distinctive quartet
of round taillights and the massive front air intake, which for
many years has been one of the GT-R's most striking visual characteristics."
He went on to summing the vehicle by saying: "The GT-R concept
serves up a delicious cocktail of aggression and intelligence, simplicity
and sophisticated. In all respects it fulfills the original brief
for the project, which was to create a car that delivers ultimate
driving pleasure".
