Fleet Customers Trip

Dubai- (July 2002)-- In order to express sincere gratitude to their regular customers, Nissan Middle East recently organized a ‘Fleet Trip event’ to Japan starting from 1st July to 5th July 2000. These Fleet customers included purchasers of ‘Nissan Urvan’, ‘Sunny’, ‘Civilian’ and light trucks from all over the GCC.
The purpose of this five-day tour was mainly to thank the loyal customer base and to simultaneously establish strong future relationships by providing information about 03YM focusing on Urvan and Sunny.
Out of the total number of participants, 14 were Fleet customers and two were sales managers from Nissan’s National Sales Companies. Mr. Saito, Overseas Sales Division, and Ms. Okada from Nissan Motor Company Ltd. also accompanied them, along with Mr.Ibrahim from Nissan Middle East FZE.

In addition to being an entertaining and enjoyable trip the two most outstanding activities on the itinerary included the visit to Nissan headquarter office and the observation of Nissan Kyushu Plant. The former included a view of the impressive models for the Japanese market such as the ‘March’ and ‘Elgrand’, a welcoming speech by Mr. Saito and a brief introduction to the staff that attended the meeting. This was followed by an interactive product presentation that explained about each of the two models ‘Urvan’ and ‘Civilian’. A group photo followed by a hearty lunch for the participants and the Nissan Shatai representatives marked the end of this informational and thought-provoking meeting.
Next, the trip to Nissan Kyushu Plant commenced with a lunch at the plant. The participants then took a tour of the plant and product line that was accompanied with an illustrative explanation by a representative of the Kyushu Plant. Three models were being assembled at the plant and they included Sunny, Pathfinder and X-Trail. The plant’s management gave a presentation about the historical productivity of the Kyushu Plant.
The fleet customers also visited Yokohoma and Kamakura, Beppu Spa and Fukuoka where they had their sightseeing tour and a farewell dinner. All the participants were very satisfied with this trip and were glad to be a part of such a delightful activity.
